If you didn’t make it to the Duck and Glis Glis (also known as pub night at the village hall) you missed a fun night.
There was a good turn out and those who braved the nasty wet weather were rewarded by a warm welcome, with Chiltern Ale and hot dogs served by our very own barmaids, Vanessa and Lori.
There was entertainment in the form of traditional pub games – darts, dominoes, shove halfpenny and bagatelle – no gambling of course but that didn’t diminish the competitiveness!
Thank you to all who took the time to dig out the games and set it all up.
